I have an incredible love for television. It brings me a terribly
amazing amount of joy. I relate my everyday life to shows like Everybody
Loves Raymond or Seinfeld.
For a while, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I would
watch Law & Order and I would want to be a detective. I'd watch ER
and being a nurse would be my new thing. Even now, when I watch the
movie Twister, I want to be a storm chaser. Then I realize, I don't
actually want to be a nurse or a cop or a scientist of any sort. I just
like to put myself in those positions when I'm watching TV.
I think because of this, I have a wide variety of interests. From sports
to politics to music to marine biology, I like to learn as much about
everything as I can. Though I'd definitely say that the entertainment
business and news and pop culture are my areas of expertise.
